Our Story
Organized in 1876 as the San Antonio Mexican Mission of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, La Trinidad UMC is one of the most historic predominantly Latin-American communities in North American Methodism.
Today, this multi-generational ministry includes English and Spanish speaking individuals from across Bexar County, Texas and beyond.
Our Ministry Team

Rev. John P. Feagins & Rev. Raquel C. Feagins
Rev. John Feagins has been serving as senior pastor of La Trinidad UMC since 2013. He is bilingual in English and Spanish and has served ministries in Mexico and the United States since 1991, with experience in music ministry, short-term missions, church planting, leadership development, evangelism, and campus ministry.
Rev. Raquel Cajiri Feagins joined the La Trinidad team in January of 2017 and specializes in the areas of discipleship, youth, and family ministries. Raquel is bilingual in English and Spanish and has served as an associate minister, pastor, and chaplain, with experience in short term missions in Bolivia, Mexico, and South Texas.
